When I am not teaching, I spend a lot of time photographing people or editing pictures, both processes which I love but will always take an opportunity to head off into the landscape. In a time dominated by the desire for immediacy in pretty much all that we do, I find it a refreshing side step, a luxury, at times, perhaps but an opportunity to appreciate and explore our natural, allbeit built environment.
